This program combines a rigorous academic foundation with practical, hands-on experience, preparing students to manage and deliver exceptional events across various sectors, including corporate, entertainment, sports, festivals, and cultural projects. We appreciate that our students come from all around the world and therefore recognise the cultural significance and importance of scale and nature of the events they are seeking to manage.
The course equips students with advanced skills in event strategy, creative design, logistics, marketing, project planning, hospitality and sustainable practices. Students will develop expertise in managing large and small-scale events and learn how to navigate the complexities of client relations, budgeting, and risk management. By integrating industry-relevant technology and data analytics, students will gain understanding of modern trends and challenges in event management, including the growing demand for virtual and hybrid events.
Throughout the programme, students will have access to a rich network of industry professionals and real-world case studies, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to excel in a dynamic and competitive field. Through a combination of workshops, seminars, and project-based learning, students will work on live briefs and collaborate with industry partners, providing them with invaluable exposure to the fast-paced world of event production.
Teaching sessions for this course will take place Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 9.00pm. As such, the course may include some evening teaching.
