"Hi, my name is Theo Shenbanjo, I am the Head of Estates & Facilities."

"When it’s break time, I’m going for hot Ribena and a bagel!"

How did you get to where you are now?

"I started working in education following a successful time in finance and local government.

"As a School Business Manager, I was responsible for ensuring all non-teaching aspects of the school, which include administration, timetabling, data, facilities management, health & safety, IT, human resources, project management, finance, and admissions run efficiently and effectively."

Tell us about what you do at Ravensbourne.

"At Ravensbourne, my team and I are responsible for ensuring all facilities are excellent environments which are safe and conducive to high quality teaching and learning.

"This includes buildings and estates, contract services including catering, cleaning, waste management, security, sustainability, and the environmental health and safety function."

What are you most looking forward to right now?

"As a team we have a new Health, Safety and Environmental Manager joining later this month. This is a key addition to our team as we are keen to continue to promote proactive health and safety practice amongst our students and staff."

What is your proudest accomplishment?

"In 2016 and 2018 I won The National Career Guidance Award and the Career Champion Award. These awards recognised my work in career guidance where I raised aspirations and ensured positive outcomes for thousands of students in South London."

The best dessert is… apple crumble

My favourite way to exercise is… bodyweight exercise

My guilty pleasure is… mixing crackers and ginger biscuits together
