Knitting revamped during lockdown

Alumni Jen Hoang and Jennifer Lam both started Stitch & Story with the passion to revamp knitting as a simple, modern and aspirational skill.

Combining their design and user experience strengths, they have created all-in-one knitting kits, online tutorials and workshops and have seen their business really take flight during lockdown.

Since starting 4 years ago, they’ve secured high-end retailers and are stocked in Liberty’s and John Lewis. Securing their investment this year, they were able to double their team and expand their warehouse.

Both Jen and Jen also secured a license with the famous French company, Sophie la Girafe, making exclusive kits under the brand. As the business grows, they hope to move into the US market and expand their product lines.

They’ll continue to work on their core passion and develop innovate ways to make crafting simple, modern and aspirational.
