Our purpose is to transform the lives of our diverse student population through a unique specialist educational experience, giving them the wherewithal to flourish and become future leaders in the creative industries.

At every level – pre-degree, undergraduate and postgraduate, – we deliver the skills that enable creative people to be innovative, self-sustaining practitioners and leaders.

The gulf between education and industry can stand in the way of achievement and prosperity. We seek to bridge this gap by creating close and mutually rewarding links between our courses and industry partners. We link research with real-world application and excel in the creative exploitation of emerging technologies.

Higher education is undergoing rapid evolution. Technology is racing ahead. The creative sector too is seeing unprecedented structural change. Setting strategy within such a fast-changing environment is challenging. As we move into our next phase of growth and consolidation we will be intent on raising our game, for example by expanding our research activity, our industry and educational partnerships, and by increasing still further our students' satisfaction. We will never be satisfied.

We are in the midst of an ambitious change programme, designed to enable us to continue to achieve our goals and meet the needs of the creative industries we serve. This is a key strategic plank for our future: our governance, organisation and operations management structure will continue to evolve and mature as we implement this programme.
