Ravensbourne University London attends prestigious RIBA London Student Awards

Ravensbourne University London was proud to attend the prestigious RIBA London Student Awards, where eight of its graduating architecture students were honoured for their final major projects.

The ceremony, held on 23 October, celebrated the innovative work of architecture students from across London and its surrounding areas. This year’s awards showcased the talent emerging from Ravensbourne’s architecture department, with students receiving recognition across various categories.

The RIBA London Student Awards are a key event for emerging architects, providing a platform for students to showcase their skills and connect with influential leaders in the architecture industry. This year's awards highlighted a broad range of innovative student projects, many of which addressed contemporary challenges such as sustainability, climate resilience, and technological advancements in the built environment. 

The award-winning students were Layla Sreeraman, Laurence Chapman, Robbie Michael, Shana Remezan, Ian Tsang, Lola Moro, Wei Jiang, and Jing Sum Fan.  

Jing Sum Fan received the Diversity and Inclusion award, sponsored by Vandersanden, one of Europe’s largest producers of bricks. Wei Jiang was awarded the RIBA South East London prize for his project, which was presented to over 350 industry professionals and peers at the ceremony. 

Ravensbourne University London is thrilled to see its students recognised for their creativity and hard work.
