Lamula Anderson BA (Hons)

Biography

Lamula is a fashion designer and founder of her own womenswear label 'Lamula Nassuna' - as a vehicle for her creativity she draws inspiration from topical issues and her personal experiences.

She specialises in running creative workshops for young adults in the area of fashion, design, and pattern cutting.

As well as teaching Lamula is active in the fashion industry and is commissioned by museums to create work. Her most recent work explores heritage, culture and normalising stereotypes and she was invited to exhibit her most successful collection ‘Enviri’ at the Tate Britain in 2017 as part of their Late at Tate interactions exploring the topic 'Hair and Politics'.
