Charlotte Pierzchniak

After completing an internship at Atelier Technology, Charlotte became a permanent member of the design team once she had graduated. Since joining the company in 2018, she has worked her way up from Junior Designer, to Mid-Weight Designer and is now Product Owner.

When Charlotte visited Ravensbourne for the first time, what appealed to her the most was the incredible facilities on offer to the students, as well as the university's high employability rate.

On her course, there was a strong focus on preparing students for work and immersing them in the industry. Charlotte had the opportunity to attend numerous talks from visiting lecturers and receive feedback on her work from experts in the field.

Ravensbourne gave Charlotte the tools to grow into a proficient designer. Commenting on her time at Ravensbourne she said: “The industry connections, career advice and professionalism that the course instils is essential when you leave, I wouldn’t be where I am today if my tutors hadn’t pushed me to be the best that I can be”.

Charlotte’s advice to other students is that a designer is as only as good as their experience and to succeed, you first need the opportunity to try.
