Bill Hobbins

Bill is a BAFTA nominated and an international Emmy winner programme maker, with production experience in factual, factual entertainment, documentary, entertainment, scripted comedy, childrens, live & programme development.    

He has worked with a variety of Indies over his 30-year career and internally for both the BBC, where he was Creative Director of CBBC and for SKY, where he was a commissioner in ‘unscripted’ across SKY ONE, SKY ARTS and SKY KIDS for nearly five years.   

He has consulted for the SVOD Amazon Originals, advised Advertising agencies on their Digital Short-form strategy for high-profile clients and has been a creative director for a number of Independent production companies.     

Most recently, he was the show runner on the primetime entertainment quiz ‘One Question’ for Channel 4, with Claudia Winkleman.    

Bill joined the team as a Senior lecturer at Ravensbourne University, on the Digital TV Production degree course, in early 2024.
