Alan Postings BA (Hons), MA

Alan began his career as a hands-on model maker, working in film, advertising, and architectural studios. 

In the late 1990s, he transitioned into the digital realm, becoming a 3D artist and animator after studying at the Gnomon School of Visual Effects in West Hollywood, California. He has since worked as a freelance artist in both the US and the UK.  

Throughout his career, Alan has balanced freelance projects with teaching, contributing to 3D animation projects for studios and collaborating with students and alumni to create animated shorts for live orchestra performances.  

With over 20 years of experience in animation, 3D software, and education, Alan combines his expertise and enthusiasm to support students from diverse backgrounds in achieving their creative goals.
