During your First Week we’ll be getting to know each other. We’d love you to introduce yourselves with your own digital content.  

This is Me - Introduction Video 

• Create a short video (under a minute) to introduce yourself to your classmates.  Your first name must be included somewhere in the video. 

• This isn't marked, so don't aim for perfection with your filming and editing.  A video edited on your phone using reels/tiktok is fine. 

• It’s up to you whether it’s portrait or landscape.  

• Only share things you'd be happy for your course team/classmates to see. This video will only be viewed within your class and not shared wider than this. 

• It's up to you to choose the style and format. You can talk throughout or, you don't have to speak at all - it can just be a montage with music. 

• Suggestions for things to include: where you're from, hobbies, favourite foods, people or places, a montage of pics from your camera roll, interests, pets etc.  

• Make it as creative/silly as you like! 

Please send the video before Sunday 15 September to [email protected]. You might find it best to use a Wetransfer or GoogleDrive/OneDrive link.  Really looking forward to what you come up with!

Your course welcome week activities will be taking place on the following dates. This is a really important time for you to meet fellow students, your course team and become part of the Ravensbourne community. These sessions will cover key information about your course and everything you need to set you up for your studies.  

Monday 16 September: 9.30am – 4.30pm, room R1-706

Wednesday 18 September: 9.00am – 4.30pm, room R3-232

On your first day you will need to go to our main R1 building: Ravensbourne University London, 6 Penrose Way, London, SE10 0EW.

Students’ Union Welcome Festival 

Your Students' Union team is currently working on putting together a fantastic Welcome Festival, full details of all events will be released by in September. To keep track of all SU events and to buy tickets visit: rave.native.fm

If you’re an international student, it is important that you attend in this week to complete your enrolment, get all the information you need to best prepare your for studying in the UK and meet fellow international students on your course. 

Wednesday 11 September: 9.30am - 10.00am - In-Person Enrolment

Once you have completed your in-person enrolment you will be able to attend one of our International Induction sessions. Please plan to spend the day on campus with us.

Your teaching starts in the week commencing Monday 23 September. In semester one you will have three teaching sessions each week as follows: 

Monday, 9.00am - 1.00pm, room 232 - R3 Building

Monday, 2.00pm - 6.00pm, room 232 - R3 Building

Thursday, 9.00am - 1.00pm, room 232 - R3 Building

Due to computer suite use on this course in some weeks classes will be in different rooms. 

Once you have enrolled you can find out how to check your timetable here. Please ensure you regularly check your timetable in case there are any changes. Occasionally your timetable might get updated due to a room or other change.

If you have any questions ahead of joining us, our online drop-in sessions will take place on Tuesdays and Fridays, 1.00pm - 2.00pm UK Time.
