Concept and creative process
Titles for ‘Wondermaths’, a Schools investigational maths series for 9 to 11 year olds, in which the programme presenters on board the spaceship ‘Investigator’ travel the cosmos solving a range of mathematical problems including shape. The title sequence designed by Pete Wane was animated and painted on cels by Steve Woods and filmed top-lit on a rostrum camera with separate back-lit passes to overlay glow and burn effects.
