Concept and creative process
A content sequence for a documentary about who exactly owned the land of Britain. It was not about the cities but actually the land itself, the green and pleasant rural land of Britain. The brief was to create a small section of the programme itself, which could not be done in any other way. The difficulty was to merge three different elements yet make them look like they belonged together and worked as one piece. This was the pre-computer graphics era, so everything was hand drawn and animated. The task was to make a map and two graphs as visual and interesting as possible.
