‘Tracks' Logo blurred background matte, Element #10 of the complete on-screen identity for the countryside magazine programme ‘Country Tracks’. The title sequence was filmed live action video on location and edited on Quantel Henry. The blurred background matte was pre-shot on a rostrum camera and composited as a static background with the logo flicker mattes and the stings in post-production to enhance the animated black and white typographic logo. This multi-layered effect was used almost subliminally throughout the title sequence as punctuation to the live action scenario.
