Concept and creative process
Titles for ‘Rob Roy’, a drama adaptation by Tom Wright based on the novel by Sir Walter Scott. The opening titles were superimposed over a panning shot of an engraving of the Covent Garden area of London in the 18th century, the first stage in a journey which was to lead Frank Osbaldistone, played by Robin Sachs, to romance and intrigue in Northumberland, then to Glasgow and on to Rob Roy’s domain in the Highlands of Scotland.
