Concept and creative process
The titles for 'Jackanory Playhouse', a strand of children's drama plays, were inspired by children's picture books which were cut in strips, allowing the random re-arrangement of bodies. In the title sequence the illustrations of storybook characters were playfully animated and swapped to make new, unusual and surprising combinations. The curtain-up animation delivered the expectant audience to the ensuing drama.
