Opening titles for ‘Dance Energy Lift Off’, a ‘Def II’ series bringing the latest dance music club scene news and entries to the ‘Lift Off’ competition, in which pop hopefuls got their chance to win a record deal with their home-made video and audio cassettes. The high energy titles to the show were prefaced by one of the many ‘DEF II’ stings designed to brand the wide-ranging programme strand whatever its content.
