Blake's 7 (1978)

Titles for a science-fiction drama series about a group of rebels from Earth fighting an evil dictatorship. The show ran for four series from 1978 to 1981 and became a cult around the world. It still has an active appreciation society, Horizon, with its own website. The titles set the scene and tone and introduced the Liberator, the alien starship used by Blake and his crew in the first three series. The logo designed by Bob Blagden became a brand in its own right and was widely used on ‘Blake’s Seven’ merchandising to the show’s 10 million viewers.
