Title sequence for ‘Bergerac’, a private detective series set on Jersey in the Channel Islands. The series ran from 1981 – 1991 and this example is from series 4. The opening animation aerial view of the island is from series 1 and had been retained together with the logo animation as a branding and the type styling. This sequence showed a view of Mont Orgeuil Castle at various times of the day in a strip at the top of screen, with a montage of action footage of John Nettles as Bergerac and other key cast members below.
