‘Yo-Yo’ was one of the idents created for the BBC One 1996 Autumn campaign. It was entirely computer animated and shows the action of several yo-yos spiralling up and down, in and out of shot. The one nearest to camera pauses briefly as its string fully unwinds before re-gathering momentum and spiralling up out of shot. That brief pause was used to animate the ‘1’ ident on the yo-yo’s external surface in and out in post-production.
