Concept and creative process
‘Tea-Time’ was one of the idents created for the BBC One 1996 Autumn campaign. It was entirely computer animated in 3D with a complex scenario involving a house of cards being knocked flying by the pendulum-like movement of a pocket watch on a chain. The watch then avoids a flying teapot and cup and saucer and ends in a big close-up of its face, on which we see the ‘1’ logo mounted on the hour hand.
