Concept and creative process
I was asked to create an ident for BBC World India highlighting their 10pm slot with the tagline ‘Knowing is everything’. The brief dictated sticking to the BBC branded colours of reds and yellows, but aside from that I pretty much had an open brief. My winning idea featured an Indian dancer moving across screen to reveal ’10pm’. I shot an Indian dancer in the rostrum studio and graded and composited it together with the typography in Quantel Hal. The audio was added afterwards.
