Concept and creative process
Michael Bogdanov presented the BBC Wales Arts Awards from the Taliesyn Arts Centre, Swansea, to highlight the achievements in the Arts in Wales during 1994. For the title sequence the designers used texture maps of patterned materials, split screen mattes, live action footage of artists and performances, artwork, musical notation, a film can and even newspaper ads for a CEO to create an intriguing, semi-abstract potpourri of images which they composited in a digital edit.
