If you’d told us just over a year ago, when we launched our society Creative Capital, that we’d be hosting such a prestigious event, we never would have believed you!”

After fighting off tough competition from other universities, 'Creative Capital', a content creation society at Ravensbourne, won the bid to host this year's prestigious event.
After securing the successful bid in June 2022, students behind Creative Capital single-handedly planned the sold-out event, which took place in Ravensbourne's building in North Greenwich between 14-16 April.
A team of over 30 Creative Capital members were involved in the organisation of this year's event from across BA (Hons) Digital Television Production, BA (Hons) Digital Film Production and BSc (Hons) Broadcast Engineering courses.
At its heart, Creative Capital is all about sharing stories and coming together through a love of content creation. Collectively, the society has produced everything from live shows to podcasts.

This year, the event is an especially big deal because it is the 50th anniversary of the NaSTAS. It is a massive privilege to be hosting it at Ravensbourne. As a broadcast engineering student, it’s also an amazing opportunity to work with so many big broadcast companies.”

We found out that we'd won the bid in June and since then it really has been all hands-on deck. For me personally, it’s given me such great production management experience. It's confirmed for me that this is the area that I want to go into after university. ”
