Local attractions - The West End, Emirates Air Lane (Cable Car), National Maritime Museum, Greenwich Park, Royal Observatory Greenwich, Cutty Sark.

Bus: With a bus stop conveniently located outside the reception it takes 25 minutes to get to Ravensbourne.

Train: Cutty Sark DLR station is a 11 minute walk and Deptford Rail Station is an eight minute walk from the Village, with connections to the rest of London.

McMillan Student Village offers the following incentives to students looking to book for the 2025/26 academic year as follows:                                                       

✅ No visa, no pay

If you require a visa to study in the UK you can cancel without penalty if the visa is refused, or you are unable to apply for a visa due to not having a CAS up to 7 days after A level results day in the UK.

✅ No place, no pay 

If you are a first year undergraduate and you do not receive an unconditional offer to take up your place, you will be able to cancel up to 7 days after A level results day

Ravensbourne discount

Alternatively, you can book via their website. However, you will not receive the Ravensbourne discounted rate.

Important: Please be advised that you will be required to pay an £250 administration fee which is converted to a security deposit once your lease starts. This will be before you receive any maintenance loan payments from Student Finance England (first payment is usually received end of October).
