Dr Babette Radclyffe-Thomas PhD MA BA FRAS

Babette is a fashion academic, journalist and consultant. She has the world's first PhD in Vogue China and is a fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland. 

Babette is an award-winning journalist who has worked at some of the most influential fashion and style publications in Asia and Europe. Babette specialises in the Chinese fashion and beauty industries and in 2023, Babette obtained her PhD specialising in Chinese fashion media and is the only person in the world to have a PhD in Vogue China. 

Babette obtained a Master's degree in Fashion Journalism with high distinction from the London College of Fashion in 2013 and won the Harper's Bazaar Art Plus Fashion Journalism Prize the same year. As a freelance journalist, she has been published in Business of Fashion, Hong Kong Free Press and many other print and digital publications. She specialises in creating luxury custom media content.
