Biography
Bandele Olubodun is a UK trained chartered Architect and a highly motivated and innovative Senior Lecturer in Architecture at Ravensbourne University London.

With 25 years of industry experience, he has played key roles in successfully developing and implementing high-profile, multi-million-pound projects worldwide. His notable projects include Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, The Avenue in Kuwait, Crossrail Elizabeth Line stations in London, and the London and Birmingham HS2 High-speed rail network.
Bandele has worked with prestigious architectural firms such as Foster & Partners, Gensler, Grimshaw Architects, Arup & Partners, Wilkinson-eyre architects, and WSP. His expertise spans various sectors, including Commercial, Leisure, Retail, Infrastructure, Industrial, Urban Design, Heritage/Conservation, Sports, Residential, and Research. Also specialising in the building envelope (roof and façade design), Bandele has collaborated with some of the world's top façade specialists.
Bandele transitioned to academia five years ago, initially lecturing at London South Bank University, where he taught Masters and BA courses, including design, Professional Practice, and an introductory short course in Robotics. He quickly advanced to become the course director of the Master’s program in Architecture, Associate Head of Division, and Interim Head of Division. In May 2024, Bandele joined WSP Williams Sale Partnership as a Principal Architect, leading a major underground train station project in a prominent Middle Eastern city. He has since returned to academia, taking up his current role at Ravensbourne, where he leads the nascent Architecture integrated foundation cohort.
