Exploring Further Education
A combination of practical studio projects, workshops and traditional academic learning will encourage you to experiment with craft and digital technology.
Practicing industry professionals will introduce you to new ideas in digital media and design, including the opportunity for you to gain additional skills such as coding, life drawing and attending the broader higher education Ravensbourne Plus events and activities.
Why take a foundation course?
Completing a foundation course will put you in a strong position. Our students benefit from exposure to the undergraduate experience, enabling them to hit the ground running in their first year.
Over 40% of foundation students progress to Ravensbourne undergraduate programmes, increasing to 50% on some of our most popular courses through our enhanced internal progression scheme. If you decide to go directly into work, we'll also help you to find out what opportunities are available.
Our Access to Higher Education courses are validated by the Open College Network, London (OCN) and our Foundation Diploma courses are validated by the University of the Arts Awarding Body.
