Concept and creative process
This was essentially Everol McKenzie’s title sequence for ‘Top of the Pops’ animated by the Molotov Brothers but with a Christmassy endboard made in the design of torn strips of Christmas wrapping paper which jump cut on over the ‘TOTP’ logo and off again to reveal a ‘Christmas 1987’ animating caption.
