Titles for a series of documentary programmes that observed the lives and fortunes of those most affected by a changing Britain. To a soundtrack of ‘Land of Hope and Glory’ sung by children, the rippling Union Flag was animated by the BBC Computer Graphics Workshop.
The spiralling vortex animation into the programme’s logo was also by the Computer Graphics Workshop and was composited over a monochrome background version of their computer-generated Union Flag.
