Concept and creative process
Opening titles for a fly-on-the-wall series which followed the lives of six students sharing a house in Manchester. It was part of Janet Street-Porter’s youth-oriented magazine programme DEF II and prefaced by one of the many stings designed and produced to brand the programme. The titles for ‘The Living Soap’ introduced the house sharers and their university experience in a montage of torn paper live action vignettes of their lives off-campus.
