Titles for ‘Life File’, a series about life and death issues in modern medicine. For the title sequence, the pattern of an electrocardiogram with an animated flying spot was filmed on a rostrum camera, with a matte to create the vignette into which the live action scenes of everyday hospital life were composited in a film optical. The title lettering and zoom were also filmed as part of the background scene.
