Concept and creative process
Titles for a comedy series set in a satellite TV station, written by Angus Deayton and Geoffrey Perkins. ‘Fly on the Walls’ was one item among many in the spoof TV station’s schedule. The titles used production footage, rendering the first frame of each sequence with a graphic scribble technique created on a Quantel paintbox. In the final shot the last frame was similarly treated as a background to the 'KYTV' logo. The sequence was composited and animated on a Quantel Henry.
