Concept and creative process
Opening titles for a children's series, originally broadcast between 1965 and 1996 which featured children's stories, brought to life by actors. The show’s title came from an old English nursery rhyme. In this edition the story was ‘Alice Through the Looking Glass’ read by Alan Bennett. The presentation was a technical departure from the original child friendly repetitive formula. Designed and created digitally, it nevertheless still retained the familiar kaleidoscopic effects and an upbeat version of the familiar musical theme.
