Concept and creative process
The title sequence for an original thriller serial by Charlie Humphreys, starring Ken Hutchison and Clare Higgins. A former London criminal decides to go straight and moves with his wife and daughter to the Peak district of Yorkshire to start a new life. However, he is pursued by his former associates, because to finance his new life he had done one last job which had involved smuggling diamonds and a bit of cheating on his mates. The titles presage the likely outcome of such double dealing, with their ominous red line animating over the cast's faces and the framed photograph of happier times lying shattered into pieces.
