Concept and creative process
Titles for a series in which Delia Smith demonstrated the basics of good cooking. The sequence was shot close-up and live in a marble and white set by Marc Ortmans and Haydon Young. The beautifully lit basic ingredients were topped and tailed by a floating chicken feather, a simple but effective device to structure the sequence, and composited in post-production with handwritten names of ingredients and recipes.
