The Day the World Changed (1992)

Concept and creative process

Title sequence for 'The Day the World Changed', a six-part series about personal reflections on a day from the past by a variety of famous people from a variety of backgrounds. The idea was to base the title sequence around a circle representing the world itself. A variety of props were chosen and filmed on 35mm together with some hand movements. All the elements were shot against a black background so the objects could be repositioned to match exactly in post-production.
