Concept and creative process
There were several idents with a bath-time scenario that were designed and produced for BBC2 by the Lambie-Nairn design consultancy. In this ident, nicknamed ‘submarine’, the ‘2’ pops up from beneath the surface of the bubbles, scanning the surroundings like a periscope, before diving back down under the bubbles again.
