Concept and creative process
‘Ski 2' was the Christmas campaign for 2000. A snowy mountain '2', set in a piercingly blue sky. This campaign was used repeatedly from 2000 up to the Winter Olympics in 2015. The 'Round the Hill' interclip was shot using stop-frame animation replacement models. For each '2' there were as many as 20 versions, all tilting and leaning in different positions. In post-production were added the atmosphere, cloud and sparkles and the animation support rigs were removed.
