'Jack in a Box' was one of a series of idents which followed the BBC1 Creation idents and depicted the delivery, revealing or opening of the new BBC1 symbol. 'Jack in a Box' introduced a lighter tone used to preface entertainment programmes. It was a live action model shoot with stars and glitter added in post-production.
