Auntie's TV Favourites (1996)

Concept and creative process

Titles for a series of programmes launching a special set of awards in which viewers can vote for their favourite BBC stars and shows to mark the 60th anniversary of TV broadcasting. In the title sequence TV sets are being handed from one person to another in a chain. On-screen are playing clips of TV personalities saying the catchphrases for which they are well-known. The action was shot live in a studio and the clips were tracked and matched to the live action and composited in post-production.
