Concept and creative process
Bill Pertwee and Bill Homewood present a quiz and competition programme in which two teams of teenagers battle to become Spy Catchers of the week. The opening sequence was created from a montage of black and white stills shot on a motorised Nikon 35mm camera and filmed on a rostrum camera. The logo was filmed back-lit and colourised with gels and the whole sequence was captured in-camera, eliminating the need for editing.
